MAR 22, 2005 (newstodate): Among the news on this year's summer schedule of Lithuanian Airlines is a route between Vilnius and St Petersburg, to be operated from June thrice weekly to Pulkovo Airport.
Already announced earlier is also a new flight to Barcelona, initially operated twice weekly, and from May 22 three times per week.
The carrier will increase frequencies to Brussels, Dublin, Kiev and Paris, while the capacity on flights to Brussels, Milan and Moscow will increase with the use of Boeing 737 aircraft instead of SAAB 2000, Boeing 737 combinations as of today.
From May 14 the airline will carry passengers to Berlin, Frankfurt on Main, Hanover and Berlin from Palanga, and Lithuanian Airlines will also restore its domestic flights on the Vilnius-Palanga route.
