MAR 22, 20o5 (newstodate): Finnair has signed a five years agreement with EAG for implementation of the company's eRM Route Manual and electronic charts.
The implementation will take Finnair a step further towards the vision of a paper-less cockpit environment.
-The fact that eRM has already received the first Civil Aviation Authorities' approval for navigation without paper back-up was a deciding factor, in additoin to our general confidence in the provider, says Hannes Bjurstrm, Finnair Sen VP Flight Operations.
EAG, European Aeronautical Group, is headquartered in Stockholm with a subsidiary in London, providing a comprehensive aeronautical portfolio including Route Documentation, Flight Planning applications, Performance applications, and FMS databases for all major FMC systems.
