MAR 14, 2005 (newstodate): In 2004, members of the Danish Airfreight Forwarders Association reported a total turnover at DKK 2,632,123,000.
This total turnover, comprising sales on IATA and non-IATA carriers, increased by a modest 2.9 percent over 2003.
IATA airfreight turnover, constituting 75.9 percent of the total volumes, grew by 0.4 percent only, while the non-IATA cargo turnover increased by 11.7 percent.
For 2004, IATA-carriers subscribing to settlements via CASS reported a total turnover at DKK 626,388,235, up 1.9 percent.
More than 75 percent of the cargo on IATA carriers in the Danish market is thus not settled via CASS.
