MAR 18, 2005 (newstodate): The battle for LOT's order for new aircraft seems to harden as Boeing is throwing a new card on the table.
Boeing will reportedly set up a representative office in Warsaw to be in a better position to monitor the Polish and C & E European markets, sources say.
The office is expected to open this year already, and will further document the importance Boeing attaches to securing its foothold on these markets against further Airbus penetration.
