MAR 30, 2005 (newstodate): Irish cargo GSA, IAM pins high hopes on the increase of Austrian Airlines' direct flights between Vienna and Dublin.
In this summer's schedule, Austrian will up capacity by 50 percent to six weekly flights, providing a cargo uplift of three tonnes per flight.
-Only 10 percent of all cargo shipped on Austrian from Ireland is destined for Vienna, the bulk being for the airline's growing network throughout Eastern and Central Europe, which now covers 30 destinations, says Ian McCool, IAM Managing Director.
