MAR 23, 2005 (newstodate): Fledgling Lithuanian airline Amberair is preparing the release of its first flight program, taking effect from May.
According to industry sources, Amberair initially plans to operate from its homebase at Palanga to Copenhagen, Oslo, Hamburg and Vilnius.
Currently operating one SAAB 340 aircraft while negotiating with SAAB Aircraft Leasing on the lease of a second aircraft to be delivered shortly, Amberair will serve the routes to Copenhagen and Hamburg six times weekly, and the routes to Oslo and Vilnius five times weekly.
