FEB 22, 2005 (newstodate): Russian airline UTAir closed its books on 2004 with a strong over-all performance.
The airline's air cargo volumes were up by ten percent to a total of 6,848 tonnes.
UTAir's mail volumes rose by 22 percent to a total of 22 percent, while passenger volumes increased by 14 percent to 1,465,814 passengers.
The airlines fixed-wing aircraft accumulated a total of 76,934 flight hours in 2004, up 17.4 percent on 2003.
UTAir is also a major rotary-wing operator, and its helicopter fleet accumulated a total of 45,174 flight hours, down 1.7 percent on the preceding year.
