FEB 18, 2005 (newstodate): Chisinau-based carrier Air Moldova is in for a top management reshuffle.
The Moldova CAA has sacked the airline's Director General, Dorin Timciuk, four main departments heads, and four other key management persons.
The CAA cites general dissatisfaction with the top management's handling of affairs, notably financial issues, besides criticising the general working culture of the company.
Air Moldova has long been struggling with its image after a series of critical media reports claiming that the airline might have to cease operations if it did not find new financial means to meet its aircraft lease payments for the two Airbus A320 and Embraer 120 aircraft.
