FEB 10, 2005 (newstodate): In its latest attempt at privatisation, Malev has set February 28 as the deadline for bidders.
Bids are reportedly expected from Aviation Solutions Konzorcium, led by Malev's former CEO Ferenc Kovacs, the Pilots' Association, Hunalpa, Kyrgyzstan airline Kyrgyz Airways, and the Italian airline Air One.
In the meantime Malev is now expected to announce the appointment of Janos G�nci as CEO and Peter Honig as president to replace its short-lived President and CEO, Laszlo Sandor, at an extraordinary general meeting on February 11.
