FEB 24, 2005 (newstodate): In January Lithuanian Airlines carried a total of 98 tonnes of air cargo and mail.
This represented an increase by five percent over the same month last year.
The company also saw a very strong increase in its passenger volumes during January, with totals reaching 32,759 passengers, up 58,6 percent.
With an aircraft fleet comprising five Boeing 737, two Saab 2000 and one ATR 42 aircraft, Lithuanian Airlines operates scheduled flights from Vilnius to 15 destinations, including code-share operations, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Helsinki, Frankfurt on Main, Kiev, London, Madrid, Moscow, Milan, Paris and Stockholm.
