FEB 22, 2005 (newstodate): German budget airline airline DBA is acting strongly in the market to strengthen its position.
The airline will reportedly take over all 15 routes from its competitor Germania on March 28, and DBA is also poised to bid on the Greek national carrier Olympic Airlines, sources say.
DBA's lease of Germania's 12 Fokker 100 aircraft will enable it to add a range of new destinations including Moscow, Stockholm, and Tbilisi, Georgia.
