FEB 25, 2005 (newstodate): Air France Finland has launched a new freighter service from Helsinki.
Through a blocked-space agremeent with UPS, Air France Cargo operates the freighter service five times weekly from Helsinki to Malmoe, Sweden, from where the shipments are loaded on AF Cargo's road feeder service that takes the cargo to Paris CDG Airport for onward transportation.
The main benefit from this new service is a 24 hours reduction in total leadtimes from Finland.
