Dec 1, 2005 (newstodate): From December, the Turkish airline Fly Air will introduce flights to the Kurdish region in Iraq from Turkey.
From December 6, the carrier will operate an Embraer 145 twice weekly from Istanbul to Arbil, the region's center of administration.
From December 14 the carrier also plans to start operations to Suleimaniya from a yet un-named third country in the region, using MD-83 aircraft.
