Dec 12, 2005 (newstodate): Russian airline Pulkovo has now confirmed its order for 18 AN-148, signing a contract with the leasing company IFK.
The AN-148 will replace Pulkovo's fleet of TU-134 aircraft on regional and medium-range routes.
The AN-148 competed unsucccesfully against the RRJ in Aeroflot's recent tender for 30 aircraft, but has still landed orders by KrasAir for delivery of 10 aircraft, and AeroSvit is also reported to have ordered 10 aircraft.
The first eight aircraft will be delivered by 2008, with the remaining to follow by 2009.
