Dec 6, 2005 (newstodate): Finnish Commuter Airlines Finncomm has taken delivery of the first of a total of eight ATR 42-500 aircraft ordered this summer.
The ATR 42-500 aircraft will feed the Finnair Helsinki hub and will be also operated on the Finncomm Airlines regional network.
The eight firm aircraft are scheduled to be delivered between late 2005 and the end of 2007, and up to 2009 for the optional aircraft.
The ATR aircraft will replace the Swedish airline Golden Air's Saab 340 aircraft, operated on a dry-lease agreeent.
