Dec 2, 2005 (newstodate): Korean Air Cargo saw its overall cargo load factor up by 0.4 percentage points, to 72 percent in October.
This was, however, due to a 5.7 percent decrease in capacity.
The company's FTK was down by 5.2 percent to 734 million, comprising an increase by 24.5 percent on the Chinese and European traffic, while operations in America and Southeast Asia were down 9.1 and 15.1 percent, respectively.
The carrier expects a recovery in cargo demand at the end of the year, and has added a B747-400ERF to meet the anticipated rebound.
