Dec 14, 2005 (newstodate): North American Airlines plans to start charter operations between New York JFK and Zagreb, Croatia, from next summer, sources say.
The tentative start is being planned for May, 2006, and the airline will operate one of its five Boeing 757-200ER aircraft on a twice-weekly basis.
In Zagreb, a project group around Dalmatian Holidays is meanwhile preparing to launch its low cost, longhaul airline, also from early next summer.
Zagreb has also for the last few years been a destination for the Canadian charter airline Skyservice Airlines that operates a Boeing 757-200 seasonal service between Toronto and Zagreb.
