Dec 2, 2005 (newstodate): The privatisation process of Bulgarian airports Bourgas and Varna is further delayed as the court hearing on the issue was postponed.
Originally slated for December 1, the hearing by Bulgaria's Supreme Administrative Court was postponed to allow time for the winner of the original tender, Copenhagen Airports, to produce its response to the allegations filed by the losing parties in the tender, Fraport AG/BM Star consortium and the Frenche Vinci group.
The tender for a concession contract covering 35 years was closed in April this year, but was contested by the losing parties.
