Dec 20, 2005 (newstodate): Privately-owned Albanian carrier Albatros Airways has launched a new route between Tirana and Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport.
The route will be operated thrice weekly with the carrier's Fokker 100 aircraft.
Founded in 2004, Albatros Airways currently operates scheduled services from Tirana to eight destinations in Italy.
In the pipeline are new routes from Tirana to London, Brussels, and Pristina.
