Nov 28, 2005 (newstodate): Swedish airport Malmo Sturup reports high growth rates in 2005.
During the first 10 months of this year, the airport generated a total of 25,907 tonnes of air cargo, compared to 22,243 tonnes during the same period in 2004.
The growth by 16.5 percent is mainly due to Polar's decision to move its traffic from Gothenburg Landvetter to Malmo, in response to regional customer demands.
Also the airport is seeing brish business from its integrator traffic.
