Nov 14, 2005 (newstodate): The competition over winning the tender for privatisation of Bratislava and Kosice Airports is now narrowing down to four contenders.
The French group around Vinci has announced its decision to withdraw, leaving four groups in the race for 66 percent of the stake.
These are Flughafen Wien AG, Penta Group AG, Raiffeisen Zentralbank AG; Abertis Infrastructure SA, TBI Plc, Slovakian J&T Finance Group; Independent Slovak Airport Partners, Flughafen Koeln-Bonn GmbH-SNC, Lavalin Group Inc, Airport Consulting Vienna GmbH; Tepe Akfen Ventures.
The process will be concluded shortly, with November 15 as the deadline, and the privatisation will be enforced from the turn of the year.
