The airline is seeking either two Boeing 737-400, two Boeing 737-800, or two A320-200 aircraft on a two-year lease contract.
The airliner has earlier vented intentions of opening up new routes to destinations in western Europe by 2006.
The carrier currently operates a fleet comprising four TU-204-300, 10 TU-154M, three TU-154B, seven YAK-40and two AN-24 aircraft.
The planned Boeing or Airbus aircraft will thus become the first western aircraft to be operated by the airline.
