Nov 18, 2005 (newstodate): Russian state ownership shares may impede the formation of the AiRUinion airlines with one joint stock.
AiRUnion now comprises Omskavia, KrasAir, Sibaviatrans, Samara Airlines, Domodedovo Airlines, and Sakhalinskiye AviaTrassy.
The alliance is lead by KrasAir in which the state owns 51 percent, and the state also holds 50 percent of Domodedovo Airlines and 46.5 percent of Samara Airlines.
AiRUnion's proposal is for the state to reduce its stake in the joint stock of AiRUnion to 32 percent - but this has met with opposition.
