Nov 11, 2005 (newstodate): The Russian state has gained grounds for taking back ownership of Domodedovo Airport after a recent court rule that declaired the East Line acquisition at leat partly illegal.
Since the late 1990'ies, East Line has invested heavily in turning the airport into Moscow's most modern and advanced international airport that increasingly attracts international airlines including British Airways and, from this month, Thai Airways Int'l.
East Line claims in a statement that the court ruling will not affect the airport's operations. But uncertainty is growing.
