Nov 21, 2005 (newstodate): To cover up debts and liabilities, the Kaunas District Court has reportedly arrested one of Air Lithuania's three ATR-42 aircraft.
The aircraft is the only one owned by the carrier that operates the other two on a lease arrangement.
Reports say that the troubled airline is currently still flying according to schedule on its routes out of Kaunas to Hamburg, Oslo and Billund.
Creditors of Air Lithuania are the Lithuanian air navigation company Oro Navigacija, the airport of Palanga, and the airport of Kaunas.
