Nov 18, 2005 (newstodate): Lithuanian ground handling company Litcargus is currently preparing to welcome its new customer, Wizz Air at Kaunas Airport, Lithuania, from December 1.
-We already handle Ryanair at Kaunas, but with the start of Wizz Air operations, our scope of business will increase significantly, says Vidmantas Vaskys, Litcargus CEO.
Litcargus stated as handling agent for Finnair Cargo and Lufthansa Cargo at Vilnius Airport, and now also serves airBaltic cargo and passenger handling , which makes them the largest handling company in Vilnius.
Litcargus is also cargo GSA for Lufthansa Cargo, Austrian Airlines and, from September this year, Singapore Airlines Cargo.
-We sell primarily to Lithuanian freight forwarders, but anyone who comes to the airport with a need for air cargo transport will be served, says Mr Vaskys.
