Nov 9, 2005 (newstodate): Polet Airlines is in the market to buy six SAAB 2000 aircraft, an airline spokesman confirms.
The seller may be SWISS that has retired its fleet of seven SAAB 2000 from service with the start of this winter's schedule, but this is still not confirmed, and while a SWISS spokesperson says the aircraft have already sold the company will not reveal the name of the buyer.
So far, Polet also has not provided any details on its planned use of the 50-seat turboprop aircraft that travel at very high speed over short and medium distances.
