Nov 22, 2005 (newstodate): Cargo and mail volumes in 2005, reported by the Finnish CAA, will end up in a sustained negative growth.
At the end of October, total volumes in 2005 were down 4.4 percent to 10,984 tonnes, against 11,886 tonnes in 2004.
International air cargo fell 8.1 percent in October to 9,292 tonnes, and by 4.4 percent during the period January-October.
Mail volumes dropped by 0.3 percent in October, to 1,254 tonnes, and by 2.5 percent during the period January-October.
