Nov 8, 2005 (newstodate): Domodedovo Cargo Terminal has implemented a system to create a web-interface for the terminal's cargo handling system at the airport's customs checkpoint.
The system allows customs officers to get on-line information on the current status of the warehouse of Domodedovo Cargo Terminal by means of remote access to the cargo handling system of the terminal.
Besides enabling customs inspectors to verify the actual location of a shipment at the warehouse for inspection, the software also allows officers of the Domodedovo customs to read and print out the electronic documents.
Domodedovo Cargo Terminal was established in 1994-1997 within the framework of the implementation of a large-scale investment programme of EAST LINE Group.
The daily cargo handling capacity of the complex is 800 tonnes.
