During the period, passenger sales accrued to USD143.68 million, while cargo sales topped with USD143.68 million.
Cargo sales also overtook passenger sales in growth rates, as passenger sales grew by 12.7 percent, while cargo sales increased by 14.6 percent during the period.
With two new Boeing 747 freighter orders in 2005, China Airlines now has a fleet of 18 freighters, planned to increase to 21 by the end of 2007
