Nov 1, 2005 (newstodate): As a further step to consolidate its operations, the Russian airline alliance AiRUnion plans to set up a joint aircraft maintenance base.
The base weill be established at Krasnoyarsk Emelyanovo Airport with the capacity to maintain the alliance's about 40 TU-154 aircraft that currently constitutes one-third of the fleet of member airlines KrasAir, Domodedovo Airlines, Samara Airlines, Omskavia and Sibaviatrans.
