Oct 17, 2005 (newstodate): Khabarovsk-based Russian airline Dalavia Airways may become the target of a take-over plan by Aeroflot, sources say.
The shares in Dalavia will be put up for sale, and this will provide Aeroflot with an opportunity to acquire the carrier.
The move would be just another step in the ongoing consilidation of the Rusian civil aviation, with Aeroflot and AiRUnion now constituting the two centres of gravity.
