Oct 11, 2005 (newstodate): Russian airline Orenburg Airlines has signed a contractfor deliveery of two Boeing 737-400 aircraft.
The aircraft come on a five-years leasing contract with GECAS, and the first will be delivered later this year already, with the second to follow early in 2006.
Orenburg Airlines currently operates a fleet of TU-134, TU-154 and AN-24 aircraft, in addition to helicopters.
The two Boeing aircraft will thus become the airline's first western-built aircraft.
