Oct 25, 2005 (newstodate): On October 20, Montenegro Airlines opened the bids in the tender for a new hangar at Podgorica Airport.
-Three international companies, including one British, and one domestic company have taken part in the tender, says Danilo Mijac, Montenegro Airlines technical director.
According to Mr Mijac, the hangar is planned to enter service by May next year.
The 40x40 m hangar and adjoining annexes will facilitate maintenance and service on the carrier's five Fokker 100 aircraft.
During the first seven months of this year, the carrier has seen passenger volumes up 37 percent on 2004.
