Oct 14, 2005 (newstodate): From May 16, 2006, the Icelandic carrier Iceland Express plans to open up new routes between Reykjavik, Iceland, and Sweden.
The destinations in Sweden are Stockholm, to be operated four times weekly, and Gothenburg, served twice weekly.
Iceland Expres, that already operates flights to Copenhagen and London, has contracted Icelandic charter operator, JetX to ply the routes with MD-82 aircraft.
Other new destinations from next summer announced by the carrier are Alicante, Berlin, Frankfurt Hahn, and Friedrichshafen.
