Oct 12, 2005 (newstodate): Effective from October 17, new Latvian forwarding company Alfaprim Transport will open its office in Tallinn, Estonia.
Alfaprim Transports was officially launched on October 1, 2005, after the merger between Latvian companies Asgard Transports and Panda Kargo, and headed by Elmars Savickis, the owner and CEO of Panda Kargo.
-This strategical merger is a part of the future business plan by Panda Kargo and Asgard Transports, aiming at providing high quality standards and expand operational capacity in Latvia as well as in Estonia and Lithuania, says Evita Duma, Alfaprim Tansport marketing manager.
Alfaprim Transport will also operate as a hub for Alfaprim Transport's Turkey-Baltics groupage line, support sales activities in the Baltics, and facilitate operational growth in Estonia for air, sea and road freight.
