Oct 13, 2005 (newstodate): Lithuanian Airlines is planning to introduce, from this year's winter program, a new route between Lithuania and the UK.
According to industry sources, the carrier will operate from Vilnius to London Gatwick, returning to Vilnius via Palanga, Lithuania.
It is understood that the route will be operated initially once weekly with Boeing 737 aircraft.
Lithuanian Airlines already operates between Vilnius and London Gatwick 10-12 times per week.
