Oct 21, 2005 (newstodate): Aeroflot has completed an audit inspection on its compliance with the international operational safety standards, IATA-IOSA.
Aeroflot is the first Russian airline to be audited for IOSA, so the auditors had to adjust to the Russian specifics by the example of Aeroflot.
A plan of measures to eliminate the detected shortages should be worked out 30 days after audit completion, with one year granted for its implementation.
Aeroflot, however, intends to eliminate the shortcomings by February 2006 already.
