Oct 24, 2005 (newstodate): From November, Royal Jordanian plans to add a new route to Iraq's Kurdistan province.
The carrier will operate flights from Amman to the northern Iraqi city of Erbil, Kurdistan, on a twice weekly basis.
This will become the carrier's third route to Iraq after the launch in 2003 of the Amman-Baghdad service, followed, from October 20, by the opening of flights from Amman to Basra.
Erbil is also the destination for the Swedish Online Air Service that opens a new route by November 9 from Stockholm via Istanbul.
