Oct 31, 2005 (newstodate): Airbus leads over Boeing in Aeroflot's current aircraft fleet modernisation and expansion.
Only this month Aeroflot ordered a batch of nine A321 aircraft, followes immediately after by a new order for five A320 family aircraft.
Aeroflot currently operates a fleet of 18 Airbus aircraft, against only eight Boeing aircraft.
The next battle-ground will reportedly be over Aeroflot's decision, awaited any time now, on the acquisition of either Airbus A350 or Boeing 787 aircraft for its longhaul routes.
