JAN 18, 2005 (newstodate): This year's Russian state budget will provide a welcome boost to the country's aviation industry.
With improved funding, the Russian aviation industry will be able to up its aircraft production to some 150 aircraft per year, including the AN-148 that will replace ageing AN-24 and TU-134 and is also poised for marketing in western countries.
