JAN 31, 2005 (newstodate): The An-124, fenced in by the Canadian authorities after a rift between Ukraine and a Canadian company over non-payment of debts, has been set free.
According to local sources, the aircraft landed at Gostomel Airport on January 29 after one and a half year on the ground at Goose Bay, Canada.
This leaves another AN-124 sole in confinement, also for debts reasons, in Brussels since August, 2004.
