JAN 26, 2005 (newstodate): The Airbus A300-600 freighter operated by Etihad on an ACMI lease agreement with Air Atlanta will soon be followed by another two aircraft.
The original three-years lease contract, announced in November last year, contains provisions for two more freighters, and Air Atlanta is expected to provide these "soon", sources say.
This would require Air Atlanta to procure more aircraft in the market.
Air Atlanta is a subsidiary of the holding company Avion Group.
Avion's total fleet consists of 66 aircraft, outstations are 20, and the staff numbers 3,200.
