JAN 07, 2005 (newstodate): Budapest-based Hungarian company AES Cargo has introduced GPS tracking services in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The company says it has plans to expand the service to other offices in the Middle East and Central Asia.
-GPS technology provides a continuous link between our convoys and our communications center for maximum security and routing efficiency. In this sense it is not only a mechanism for determining the position of our convoys but also an information source which allows us to react quickly to changes on the ground, says Jay Cziraky, AES Cargo Field Operations Manager.
