SEP 03, 2004 (newstodate): New airline to be headquartered at Banja Luka Airport has postponed its startup date from July 22 to late October.
The delay is ostensibly caused by the need to reorganise the airline's capital base after one of the key figures in the original plan fell out.
-We need more time to secure the financing for at least a 12 months period. Otherwise we could face a situation of having to stop after only a few months of operations, the airline says.
According to a company spokeswoman, the airlne currently does not have any aircraft capacity, but plans are to launch operations before Christmas, or rather late autumn.
The prospected network comprises flights out of Banja Luka to Istanbul, Sarajevo, Karlsruhe and Niederrhein.
