SEP 10, 2004 (newstodate): By October, SkyEurope, the Slovak budget airline, plans to operate 300 flights per month from London Stansted to destinations in Central Europe.
In July, SkyEurope operated a total of 184 flights from London to Bratislava/Vienna, Budapest, Krakow, and Warsaw.
The airline now operates a fleet of 13 Boeing 737 aircraft out of Krakow, Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna-Bratislava and Kosice to 19 destinations in 12 countries, and plans are to expand to a fleet of "at least" 32 aircraft by 2007.
