SEP 07, 2004 (newstodate): SAS has announced plans to increase its frequency on the route between Copenhagen and Shanghai from three to six weekly flights.
The change will take effect from the coming winter program.
The increased frequency on the basically business traffic-driven route, served with Airbus A340-300 aircraft, will have entail a significant increase in SAS Cargo's capacity to and from Shanghai.
During the period January-July, the total volume of Scandinavian IATA air cargo to Shanghai was 1,889 tonnes from Sweden, 1,348 tonnes out of Norway, and 789 tonnes out of Denmark.
