SEP 01, 2004 (newstodate): SAS-owned Latvian carrier airBaltic has announced plans for buying six more aircraft to cope with increasing network demands.
Plans are to buy two Boeing 737-500 for flights out of the Riga hub, and two Boeing 737-500s and two Fokker 50 for flights out of the Vilnius hub.
The airline's fleet currently comprises six Boeing 737-500, three AVRO RJ 70 and six Fokker 50 aircraft.
