SEP 023, 2004 (newstodate): On September 3, Korean Air Cargo plans to add a second freighter frequency on its route between Seoul and Oslo.
The new B747-400 freighter flight departing from Seoul every Friday with a stopover at Anchorage and Chicago before crossing the Atlantic, reaches Oslo on the same day.
After loading shipments from Oslo,
mainly comprising Norwegian fresh salmon, the new flight will leave for Seoul every Saturday.
From there, the same aircraft continues on Sunday on its route to Japan.
Korean Air Cargo's operations at Oslo were instrumental in boosting Norway's IATA cargo volumes for Korea by 28.8 percent to 1,383 tonnes in January-July.
