SEP 10, 2004 (newstodate): Air cargo volumes at Katowice Airport, Poland, are rising steeply this year.
In July, import and export air cargo volumes were up 59.7 percent to 389 tonnes, with imports up 72.2 percent to 140 tonnes, and exports up 72.2 percent to 103.6 tonnes.
For the period January-July, the airport notes an increase at 42.9 percent, to a total of 2,350 tonnes.
